PHONE MESSAGE FOR MONDAY, MAY 12, 2025.
Good evening Yadkin Early College families. I hope this message finds you all well as we get very close to wrapping up another school year. We had a wonderful graduation ceremony this past Friday night where we recognized 45 graduates and celebrated their accomplishments. We wish them all the best as they set forth on a new chapter in their lives. We are now in the last 2 weeks of the school year so please listen carefully as I go over some important information. First, any student who has not turned in their college textbooks for their spring classes need to do so right away to avoid possible charges and late fees. Also, if a student has meal charges in the cafeteria, they need to take care of it this week. Letters and emails have been sent to those who have a negative balance. Regarding our schedule, this week is our final week of classes. Next week will be our exam week for all high school classes. We will have our teacher made exams on Monday, May 19. Students should talk with their teacher to know whether they are required to take the exams. Our teacher made exam schedule will follow that of a normal school day. We will have our final English 2 classes on Monday which will be followed by the EOC on Tuesday, May 20. All 9th grade students should be here for their English class on Monday and for the test on Tuesday morning. Any student who has a school device, such as a chromebook or calculator, must turn those in, along with the charging cable, prior to leaving for the school year. If there are any questions regarding any of these items, students should check with their teachers. I hope each of you have a wonderful evening.

YCS will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 21. Classes will begin at 10:20 am. Our scheduled field trip will be canceled.
