Mr. Becker's Weekly Message

Friday will be an I/E day for students. No new learning will take place. Teachers may assign review assignments, IXL, Dreambox, or ask students to complete missing assignments.
 
We will have Parent/Teacher conferences on Tuesday, December 12th from 4:30-6:00. Please contact your child’s teachers if you would like a conference. Food trucks will be available for those families staying for the band and chorus concert.
 
The Band and Chorus will host a holiday concert on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:30 in the gym. Food trucks will be available.
 
The Student Council will be sponsoring a dance on Friday, December 15th from 4 until 6. The cost is $5.00 to attend, concessions will be available.
 
Please welcome Ms. Crappel who is teaching 8th grade ELA and Ms. Parker who is teaching 6th grade EC to the SMS family.
 
8th grade students will have their Human Growth and Development lessons on Dec 4 & 5 and December 11 & 12. Opt out forms went home last week and should be turned in to Ms. Sellers. The curriculum can be reviewed by scheduling an appointment with Ms. Sellers.
 
Beta Club members remember to bring in the items you signed up to Mrs. Brown. If you were not at the last meeting please see one of the Beta Club Sponsors to sign up for something. We need these items by our next meeting. The next meeting will be Wednesday, December 13th. Please have your ride here at SMS by 4:45.
 
Basketball will be home on Monday against West Wilkes and away on Thursday against Forbush. Wrestling is home on Thursday against Forbush.
